TeleTrader is announcing the following vacancy within its IT team:
Senior Security Engineer
Main responsibilities:
Design and implement security solutions to safeguard computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses and prioritize remediation efforts.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Monitor security logs and alerts for suspicious activity, investigate security incidents, and respond to security breaches in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and maintain security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and encryption technologies.
Participate in Security Architecture decisions on selecting vendor, interoperability of solutions and integration of new solutions.
Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.
Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to proactively address emerging risks.
What we are looking for:
3+ years of experience in similar job positions with a strong background in operation of security solutions and supporting secure network and server infrastructure design.
Experience in security solutions like Anti-Malware Solution, Firewall, IPS, Email Security Solution (incl. Tuning and monitor SPF/DMARC).
Experience in integrating solutions to proper monitoring and alarm systems (CheckMK, PRTG, Grafana etc.).
Experience in vulnerability management solutions like Wazuh, Nessus.
Wide knowledge of security tools and adversarial tactics.
Ability to work alone and as a part of the team in identifying and solving problems, finding and fixing security problems within computer networks.
Know how to contact and talk with multiple vendors and their support to resolve potential problems.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Following are optional but highly valued skills:
Experience with centralized security logging solution (knowledge in ELK is an advantage).
Experience with HP and Dell network equipment.
Experience with different implementation of MFA solutions.
